My name is Chiara Paolini, and I reside in the picturesque Tuscan countryside. I’m utterly enamored with the breed and proudly own a flock of 40 sheep, carefully imported from France. I delight in sharing my passion for these charming creatures, and I look forward to connecting with fellow owners from around the world.

Beverley has lived in the Isle of Man for 31 years, 5 years ago she and her husband Denzil took early retirement and started Manx Lavender where their lavender is harvested to make essential oil. Their Ouessant flock of 10 ewes and 4 wethers are the lavender weeding team keeping the grass and weeds under control while having only the occasional nibble at the lavender if they are allowed in the lavender field when the very new growth is coming through!

Hi I’m Suzy Edward. After working abroad and coming back to Norfolk in the UK, I’ve just formed a Ouessant starter flock. My interest is in breeding for colour genetics and fibre. I’m always happy to talk sheep.

I have been involved with the Ouessant breed for a number of years and was previously a trustee of the society. I work very closely with the ‘Cairnhill’ flock, some 15 miles away. My priority is to make people aware of this wonderful, easy to care for & friendly breed and also to maintain the breed standards through sensible & selective breeding. If you have any questions please contact me.

I am a retired vet after a varied career as an equine clinician, SRUC lab manager and pathologist. I have kept a small flock of various sheep breeds on our smallholding in South Lanarkshire for the past 40 years. However I only started with Ouessants in spring 2026. I am looking forward to learning more about the breed from all of you, and if I can help with any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

I’m delighted to be the South Wales Area Rep. I live near Abergavenny in South Wales and have kept Ouessant sheep for several years.
I’m hugely passionate about this wonderful little breed and really enjoy being part of the Ouessant community. I’m looking forward to supporting fellow keepers in South Wales, welcoming new members and helping to promote this fantastic breed in our area
